In a mundane way we’re all part of that!
Brainstorming is a starting point. Maybe more like improv theatre? I don’t have any specific experience either, but in general ways I’ve seen *it* happen — typically during small scale interactions involving different languages and interpreters.
By it, I mean communication heading down well-beaten paths with foregone outcomes being suddenly reframed and bounced off those rails. It can seem like one person did it solo with an insightful comment or observation at an opportune moment but in those conditions (plurilingual, with an interpreter) it’s always a group-level achievement to attain shared meaning. Everyone has to be willing to play in that new territory.
