Community interpreting is the right goal for AI policy about how, when/why, where and for whom machine-generated translations can replace human interpreters.

When we 'commune' we activate relationships in time as well as information in space.

When we 'confer' we're simply talking about things abstractly, largely ignoring the relational aspects!
